Dćli travelservice offers accommodation in a restored 100m2 sheepcote, situated at Másstöđum in Skíđadal, about 18 km from the town of Dalvik. The house is equiped with household appliances and has the possibility to accomodate 5 - 8 people in beds or 10 -15 people in sleepingbags.

Skíđadalur is a paradise for hikers and skiers alike, it has hikingpaths allover the Tröllaskaga peninsula fit for all levels of hikers. There are alot of interesting places to see in Skíđadal, such as Gljúfrárglacier which is at the bottom of Gljúfrárdal, the stonearch at Heiđinnamanna-mountain, the waterfalls in the rivers Ţverá, Holá and Sćluá, Gloppulake in Gloppuskál, Grjótglacier in Geldingadal, in addition to many mountaintops that are easy to hike, and offer fantastic view in all directions, such as Dýjafellshjúk and Kerlingu to name a few. People can also camp out in tents or stay in caravans in the area.
